Born at Cwm-Cati Fach, Llanarthne, Carmarthenshire. He emigrated to America and landed in New York on 25 May, 1842. He entered the ministry in 1842 and was ordained at Danville, Pennsylvania. He was minister of the CM church at Hyde Park, Scranton, Pennsylvania. He published Blwch Diwinyddol sef Corff o Dduwinyddiaeth … (Scranton and Utica; 1869-71) and Crefydd y Byd Cristionogol. He died at Hyde Park on 1 January 1881.
