Blodeu-gerdd Cymry contains a long religious poem by ' Robert Pritchard of Pentraeth, Anglesey, 1738.' He was probably the 'Robert Prichard Poet,' master of the small vessel, Blessing, which carried slates from Abercegin, near Bangor, from 1730 to 1733, as recorded in the Penrhyn estate papers.
