he was for some time. On the death of

Jones

Howels
went to
London
where he became
curate
of
S. Ann
's; he was also appointed
lecturer
at
S. Antholin
's,
Watling Street
. In
1817
he was appointed
minister
of the chapel-of-ease at
Long Acre
, where he remained until he d.
18 Nov. 1832
. He was buried in
Holy Trinity church
,
Islington
. He was a fluent
Evangelical preacher
and his sermons were published in two volumes in
1834-6
.
