. He afterwards entered

von Herkomer
's school of art at
Bushey, Herts
. For some years he lived on the
Continent
, latterly in
Holland
, but returned to
London
, where he was at the time of his death,
18 Nov. 1939
. He was buried in
Plumstead cemetery
. He was twice m. His best work is to be found in his
water-colour landscapes
, particularly of
Welsh
scenery, but he was also a
portrait-painter
. He was
interested in music
and was a good
vocalist
.
