lived at Manafon, Montgomeryshire. He published a series of almanacs under the title Newyddion Mawr Oddiwrth y Ser. The first appeared, perhaps, in the year 1738, and the third in 1741. They were published in Shrewsbury by T. Durston and include some good poetry and a little history. By this time, Evan Davies is little more than a name and his almanacs are scarce.
