,
PHILIP
(
1721?
-
1790
),
Presbyterian minister
.
Little is known about him; he was a nephew of
Philip
David
(q.v.)

Monmouthshire
man. The name appears on the list of
Carmarthen Academy

1749
he succeeded
Richard
Rees
(q.v.)
as
pastor
of the newly incorporated congregation at
Cefn-coed-cymer
, an offshoot
of
Cwm-y-glo
. He was an
Arminian
, and probably later on an
Arian
. D.
19 May 1790
. His uncle's diaries have several references to him.
