CADWALADR ap RHYS TREFNANT ( fl. 1600 ), poet .

Very little is known of him, and very little of his work is extant. His poetical compositions are mainly addressed to members of Montgomeryshire families; we have one to Sir Edward Herbert , lord of Powys , and some others to Huw ap Iefan of Mathafarn and Lewys Gwyn .
