BWTTING , RHYS ( 15th cent. ), harpist .

A native of Prestatyn, Flints. He was awarded the prize as the chief singer to the accompaniment of the harp in the eisteddfod held at Carmarthen in 1451 under the patronage of king Henry VI and under the authority of Gruffudd ap Nicolas .
