He lived at Garth Fawr in the parish of Llandinam, Montgomeryshire, but worshipped with the Arminian Baptists of Radnorshire. After his early death his widow married William Price, Bucknell. Bownd published jointly with John Price, Maes-y-gelli, Nantmel parish, Radnorshire, a book entitled The Sun Outshining the Moon (London, 1658).
